Epididymitis

Inflammation of the epididymis, commonly associated with bacterial infection or sexually transmitted infection (STI).

Vesiculitis

Inflammation of the seminal vesicle

Gonorrhea

STI associated with dysuria (painful urination) and white purulent discharge

Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV)

STI associated with viral shedding, where the virus can spread without visible lesions.

Primary syphilitic lesion

Called a chancre (painless sore at infection site)

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

Noncancerous enlargement of the prostate, common in older men.

Testicular torsion

Twisting of the spermatic cord, cutting off blood supply.

Phimosis

Tight foreskin that cannot be retracted over the glans.

Cryptorchidism

Undescended testicles (hidden testis)

Hydrocele

Accumulation of fluid around a testicle

Common cancer in men; screened using PSA (prostate-specific antigen)

Infertility

Inability to conceive after one year of unprotected intercourse.
