What is energy?
Energy is the ability to do work or cause change.
What are the different forms of energy?
Different forms of energy include kinetic energy, potential energy, thermal energy, chemical energy, and electrical energy.
What is kinetic energy?
Kinetic energy is the energy an object has due to its motion, calculated with the formula KE=21mv2, where m is mass and v is velocity.
What is potential energy?
Potential energy is stored energy based on an object's position or configuration, such as gravitational potential energy, calculated with the formula PE=mgh, where m is mass, g is gravitational acceleration, and h is height.
What is the law of conservation of energy?
The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another.
What is thermal energy?
Thermal energy is the internal energy of an object due to the kinetic energy of its molecules, related to temperature.
What is chemical energy?
Chemical energy is the energy stored in the bonds of chemical compounds, released during chemical reactions.
What is electrical energy?
Electrical energy is the energy associated with electric charges and their movement.
