Function of myelin
Serves as insulation on the axon.
Cortex
The exterior surface of the cerebrum and cerebellum, which is composed of gray matter.
White matter location (Cerebrum and Cerebellum)
Located in the interior.
Thalamus and hypothalamus composition
These structures are mainly composed of gray matter.
External cerebral lobes
The Frontal lobe, Occipital lobe, Parietal lobe, and Temporal lobe.
