Define mandatory arrest
LEO SHALL arrest if more then one is present:

-The person is the predominant aggressor.
Define predominant aggressor
The predominant aggressor is the most significant and not necessarily the first aggressor in a domestic abuse incident

Define Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO) & Injunction
court orders where the court can order the abuser not to hurt the victim physically or sexually, to stay away from the victim, move out of the house, have no contact with the victim, or stop harassing the victim

-Harassment (4 years, but can be extended up to 10 years with special criteria)

Define no contact order/violations (DV)

Describe Juvenile in Need of Protection or Services (JIPS)
If a juvenile's conduct is such that he/she is deemed to be "uncontrollable," if a juvenile under that age of 10 commits an act that would be considered criminal if they were an adult, or if a juvenile is found to be not competent after committing a delinquent act a JIPS petition may be filed

Delinquents are between 10 and 16 years old and have committed an act that would be considered a crime if committed by an adult
