Used to measure volume, with accuracy to the first or second decimal place, depending on size.
Test Tube
Used to contain small reactions; stir with a round motion, not up and down.
Wash Bottle
Used to dispense deionized water for reactions or filtering; should only contain DI water.
Stirring Rod
Used to stir reactions or transfer solids; comes with a rubber policeman for scraping.
Spatula
Used to transfer solids, also known as a Scoopula.
Glass Funnel
Used in gravity filtration to hold filter paper and catch solid residue.
