Migration
The movement of individuals or groups from one location to another, often impacting both the origin and destination areas politically, socially, and economically.
Cultural Diffusion
The spread of an idea, innovation, or cultural trend from its source area to other areas.
Relocation Diffusion
A type of cultural diffusion that occurs when individuals move and carry their cultural traits to a new location.
Expansion Diffusion
Cultural diffusion that occurs when an idea remains strong in its source area while also spreading outward.

A type of expansion diffusion affecting particular groups while leapfrogging over areas.

The idea that beliefs, values, and practices of a person should be understood in the context of their own culture.

Judging another culture based on the values of one's own culture.
