Did you have a dream job as a child?

Yes, I did. When I was younger, my dream job was to become a doctor when I grew up. I liked that idea because it could help other people, and the job also seemed exciting to me.

Has your dream changed since you were a child?

Yes, it has changed a lot. When I was a child, my dream was quite simple, but as I got older, I became more realistic about my future. I think that happened because I started to understand myself better and know what I really want.

Describe a dream you have for your future.

  • What is the dream?

  • When did you first have it?

  • Why do you want to achieve it?

  • How do you plan to make it come true?

I would like to talk about a dream that is very important to me, which is building a successful career in the future.

I first had this dream when I was in secondary school and started thinking seriously about my life goals.

The reason I want to achieve it is that I want to make my family proud and become more independent. I also hope to do a job that matches my interests and abilities.

To make it come true, I need to study hard, improve my skills, and gain experience through different activities. I know it will not be easy, but I am ready to take small steps and keep learning every day. Step by step, I hope to make progress and finally achieve my goal. It is important to me because it is my main long-term goal.

Describe someone whose dream you admire.

  • Who is the person?

  • What is his/her dream?

  • How did you know about it?

  • Why do you admire his/her dream?

The person I want to talk about is one of my close friends. She has a meaningful dream of becoming a teacher in a rural area where many children do not have good learning conditions.

I knew about this dream because she often talks about it and has shared her future plans with me many times.

What I admire most is her strong determination and the fact that she is really passionate about education. Even though she knows the job may be difficult and not highly paid, she still wants to follow it.

I think this dream is meaningful because she wants to make a difference in other people's lives and inspire others. It also teaches me that success is not only about money. That is why I really look up to her.

Why do many young people have big dreams?

I think many young people have big dreams because they want a better future for themselves and their families. They also have ambitions and want to achieve their personal goals. In addition, young people are often influenced by successful role models, social media, and social expectations.

Is it better to have one big dream or many small goals?

I think both are important, but it is better to combine them. One big dream can give people a clear direction, while short-term goals help them stay focused and make progress step by step. Without smaller goals, people may feel discouraged, because long-term success usually takes a lot of time and effort.

Do you think dreams change as people get older? Why/why not?

Yes, I definitely think dreams can change over time. As people gain more life experience, they often become more realistic and may change priorities. For example, when they are young, they may dream about fame, but later they may care more about financial stability or personal growth.
