Alkali metals & ammonium solubility
All compounds with Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, and NH4+ are soluble
Nitrates, bicarbonates, chlorates, acetates
NO3-, HCO3-, ClO3-, C2H3O2- are always soluble
Halides solubility
Cl-, Br-, I- are soluble EXCEPT with Ag+, Hg22+, Pb2+
Fluorides solubility
F- are soluble EXCEPT with Group 2 metals, Pb2+, Fe3+
Sulfates solubility
SO42- are soluble EXCEPT with Ag+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Hg22+, Pb2+
Carbonates, phosphates, chromates, sulfides
CO32-, PO43-, CrO42-, S2- are insoluble EXCEPT with alkali metals and NH4+
Hydroxides solubility
OH- are insoluble EXCEPT with alkali metals and Ba2+
Halide exception cations
Ag+, Hg22+, Pb2+ form insoluble halides
Fluoride exception cations
Group 2 metals, Pb2+, Fe3+ form insoluble fluorides
Sulfate exception cations
Ag+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Hg22+, Pb2+ form insoluble sulfates
Insoluble compounds exceptions
Become soluble if paired with alkali metals or NH4+
Hydroxide exception
Alkali metals & Ba2+ makes OH- soluble
