Hyaline Cartilage
Found in articular cartilage on the ends of bones.
Elastic Cartilage
Found in the auricle (pinna) of the ear and in the tip of the nose.
Fibrocartilage
Found in the menisci of the knees, in the pubic symphysis, and in the intervertebral discs.
Compact Osseous (Bone) Tissue
Osseous tissue with osteons found in compact bone, which is in the outer part of all bones.
Skeletal Muscle
Found in skeletal muscles.
Smooth Muscle
Found in organs like the gastrointestinal tract.
Cardiac Muscle
Found in the heart.
Neuromuscular Junction
Found where synaptic knobs of nerves synapse with muscle fibers.
