what is gas exchange
interchange of O2 and CO2 between an organism and its environment
what is countercurrent gas exchange
the transfer of a substance which as oxygen between two fluids flowing in opposite directions
what are two advantages to breathing air
air contains higher concentration of O2 than water and air is much lighter and easier to move than water
what is the diaphragm
