Independent Samples T-Test
A statistical test used to determine if there are significant differences between the means of two independent groups.
Discriminant Validity
A measure that confirms that constructs do not correlate too highly with one another and are theoretically distinct.
Formative Variable
A variable that is defined by its indicators and represents a construct formed by its components.
Construct Validity
The extent to which a test measures what it claims to measure.
PLS Multi-Group Analysis (MGA)
A method used to confirm whether hypotheses are supported by comparing path coefficients between groups.
Ratio Scale
A scale of measurement that has a true zero point and allows for the comparison of quantities.
CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis)
A statistical technique used to verify the factor structure of a set of observed variables.
Nominal Scale
A type of scale used for labeling variables without regard to order or ranking.
Path Analysis
A specialized structural equation modeling technique that examines the direct and indirect relationships between variables.
Average Variance Extracted (AVE)
A measure used to assess the amount of variance captured by a construct in relation to the amount of variance due to measurement error.
Managerial Implication
Practical or actionable recommendations derived from research findings that are intended to guide decision-making.
