postpone
To delay or put off a decision; derived from post (after) + pone (place).
drift
To float or wander like a cloud; to drift or be in a state of drifting.
weave
To create cotton cloth or to knit; verb forms are weave, wove, woven.
disregard
To ignore something, such as safety rules.
tease
To make fun of or bully someone.
reinforce
To strengthen or support a belief, message, idea, or view.
strive
To make a great effort or struggle, such as to survive; often used as strive to V.
coordinate
To harmonize, organize, or group activities and movements together.
yawn
To involuntarily open one's mouth wide and inhale deeply when bored or tired.
hug
To embrace or hold someone tightly in one's arms; inflected as hugged or hugging.
combat
To fight against or engage in battle with something, such as global warming.
install
To set up or fix equipment, such as solar panels, onto a roof.
twist
To bend, wind, orひねる (turn) something like a wire.
extract
To pull out or remove something, such as DNA from blood; derived from ex (out) + tract (pull).
bump into
To meet someone by chance or accidentally collide with a person.
despise
To look down on or feel strong dislike for someone; derived from de (down) + spise (look).
tolerate
To endure, bear, or have patience with something like pain.
boast
To speak with excessive pride or brag about something, such as being rich.
flourish
To thrive, prosper, or be successful; shares the same origin as the word flower.
