Local notes apply to specific information on a blueprint. it is a way of providing written information that cannot be shown any other way

It lists symbols used on a particular set of prints

What is a building cross-section?
Full cutaway vertical views of the structure that are drawn at the same scale as the foundation, floor plans and elevations.
What is a partial section?
used to show the construction of one specific item and is drawn at a larger scale at which the cross sections were drawn
What are cutting plane lines?
They consist of a line with sectional arrow symbol on one or both ends of the cut line.
What are detailed drawings used for?
they are used when section drawings do not clearly show information about the construction required. they provide information on a targeted area
Reference circles are used for?
to identify section and detail drawings. The reference circle provides the section or detail number as well as the page that it is found on.
Mechanical plans are used when?
on larger jobs where the architectural plans would become to cluttered. They provide plumbing and HVAC specs.
