Community Cloud

IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
Cloud model where the provider manages virtual hardware, while the customer manages the OS and applications.
PaaS (Platform as a Service)
Cloud model allowing customers to develop applications without managing the underlying infrastructure.
SaaS (Software as a Service)
Complete software solutions provided over the internet, with maintenance done by the provider.
Scalability
The ability of a system to increase or decrease resources as needed.
High Availability (HA)
Systems designed to be available during planned and unplanned outages.
Disaster Recovery (DR)
Processes that ensure recovery and continuity of operations after a disaster.
