It's a lot easier to get into Canada, as it's less discriminatory. The rules for getting into Canada are kinder and fair. Back then they were petty and unjust.

Canada provides larger base payments while America focuses on the pros being connected to employment and focuses on tax breaks for low-wage workers.

Primarily CPP (Based on lifetime work contributions). GIS as a safety net (extra help for seniors). A maximum monthly payment is 1,507.65 CAD at age 65. Starts at 60, 65 as the standard.
America's Pension for Seniors
Primarily Social Security (Based on lifetime earnings and taxes). The same thing as a safety net (not equivalent to GIS though). A maximum monthly payment is 3,800+ depending on your age and earnings. Starts at 62, 67 as the standard.
