Root word
The part of a word the carries meaning; mainly coming from Latin and Greek.
Prefixes
They are added at the beginning of a base word.
Base
A basic word; a word in its simplest form.
Suffixes
They are added at the end of the base.
Root
The main part of some words that has a special meaning, but is usually not a complete word.
Base: dict

The choice and use of words and phrases in speech or writing.
predict
Say that (a specified thing) will happen in the future.

location
A particular place or position.
relocate
To move or to move somebody/something to a new place.

motor
A device that uses electricity, petrol, etc. to produce movement and makes a machine, a vehicle, a boat, etc. work.
motion
The act or process of moving or the way something moves.

Liked or enjoyed by a large number of people.
population
The total number of people who live in a particular area.

Break out suddenly and dramatically.
interrupt
To break the continuous progress of an activity or process.
rupture
The act or process of breaking (something).
eruption
The action of breaking something.
