Science (Etymology)
Derived from the Latin word "scientia", meaning "knowledge".
Science
Knowledge that covers general truths or the operation of general laws, acquired and tested by the scientific method.
Inductive reasoning
A method of logical thinking that draws on observations to infer logical conclusions based on the evidence.
Deductive reasoning
Hypothesis-based logical reasoning that uses a general principle or law to forecast specific results and deduces conclusions from test results.
