Yes, I am captain of the neighborhood patrol.

Are you familiar with Shawn Wright?

Yes, Shawn Wright is my neighbor.

Are you familiar with Mr. Wright’s children, Junior and Mark?

Yes, I see both of his kids regularly.

Based on what you have seen, how would you describe Junior’s behavior?

Junior is very active and hard to control. He’s always running around and getting into things. He especially knows when Oprah is on, because right as the interview got good, he would start throwing things on the wall.

Can you describe any specific incidents that stand out to you?

He would run through my flowerbed and even started pulling the flowers out of the ground. Another time, he climbed on top of my El Dorado and stained the roof with peanut butter and jelly stains.

How frequently did you observe behavior like this?

Pretty regularly. Since I am captain of the neighborhood patrol, I make sure to see. Junior is always running around and constantly moving from one thing to another.

Have you had the opportunity to observe Junior in other environments except outside?

I babysat one time and he just ran from one toy to another, not even sitting in front of the TV. My friend Myrtle also babysat and when she called me afterwards, it sounded like she barely had the energy to pick up the phone. She called him the little dynamo who climbed all over her furniture.

Have you had any interactions with Shawn Wright about Junior’s behavior?

Yes, I spoke to Shawn about the damage to my flowers and my car.

How did Shawn react?

He seemed surprised and thought his “little angel” couldn’t do no wrong.

From what you’ve seen, how would you describe Shawn Wright’s supervision of Junior?

Junior doesn't get much discipline. It’s clear to me that his kids have the say in the house. The lack of rules in Shawn’s house is harming Junior.

How would you describe Junior’s level of control over his actions?

Junior doesn’t have much control over his actions. He’s always running around, climbing something, and getting into things that can hurt him. I’m surprised it took him this long to hurt himself. Once he starts, he doesn’t seem to stop.
