Testis
The primary male reproductive organ involved in sperm production.
Epididymis
A highly coiled tube located on the testis where sperm are stored and mature.
Spermatic cord
A structure that runs between the abdomen and the testes, containing the vas deferens, nerves, and vessels.
Pampinaform plexus
A network of veins found in the spermatic cord, color-coded blue in the models.
Cremaster muscle
A muscle associated with the spermatic cord, identified by a brick red color in the model.
Prostate gland
A male gland that surrounds the urethra and contributes fluid to semen.
Seminal vesicle
Glands located behind the bladder that secrete a significant portion of the fluid that becomes semen.
Corpus cavernosum
One of the two columns of erectile tissue in the penis.
Corpus spongiosum
The column of erectile tissue in the penis that surrounds the penile urethra.
Glans penis
The enlarged, distal end of the penis.
Prepuce
The retractable fold of skin covering the glans penis, also known as the foreskin.
Ejaculatory duct
The duct formed by the union of the vas deferens with the duct of the seminal vesicle.
Prostatic urethra
The segment of the male urethra that passes through the prostate gland.
Membranous urethra
The short segment of the male urethra between the prostatic urethra and the penile urethra.
Bulbourethral gland
Small glands located below the prostate that secrete a lubricating fluid into the urethra.
Dartus fascia
The layer of smooth muscle and connective tissue within the scrotum.
Seminiferous tubules
The specific site of germ cell production within the testes.
Fimbriae
Finger-like projections at the distal end of the fallopian tubes that help collect the egg after ovulation.
Fallopian (Uterine) tube
The duct through which an ovum passes from an ovary to the uterus.
Round Ligament
A ligament that attaches the uterus to the labia majora and maintains the anteversion of the uterus.
Ovarian Ligament
A fibrous ligament that connects the ovary to the lateral surface of the uterus.
Endometrium
The inner epithelial layer or lining of the uterus.
Myometrium
The thick middle layer of the uterine wall, composed of smooth muscle.
Perimetrium
The outer serous layer of the uterus.
Cervix
The lower, narrow portion of the uterus that opens into the vagina.
Fundus
The rounded top portion of the uterus, located above the entry point of the uterine tubes.
Infundibulum
The funnel-shaped opening of the uterine tube nearest the ovary.
Corpus luteum
The remnants of an ovarian follicle after ovulation that secretes hormones.
Graafian follicle
A fluid-filled structure in the ovary within which an ovum develops before ovulation.
Areola
The circular area of pigmented skin surrounding the nipple of the breast.
Mastitis
Inflammation of the breast tissue.
Lactiferous Sinus
An expansion in a lactiferous duct behind the nipple where milk can be stored.
Lactiferous Duct
Ducts that drain the mammary glands and carry milk toward the nipple.
Masteopathy
Proliferation of connective tissue within the breast.
