Newtons First Law

Every object will stay at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force.

Newtons Second Law

the law of acceleration (acceleration = force/mass). The acceleration of an object is directly related to the net force and inversely related to its mass. Acceleration of an object depends on two things, force and mass.

Newtons Third Law

For every action (force applied) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction for the action.

Gravity

Gravity is a force that pulls all falling objects to the ground.

Force

Mass or energy applied to an object.

Hooke’s Law

The amount of force applied to an elastic object is proportional or similar to how far it stretches.

Constant

A balanced level of force that leaves an object at rest or with less motion that before.

Free Body Diagram

A visual representation of the forces acting on an object.

Displacement

To compare the shortest placement of an object to the largest placement of an object.

Net Force

Adding up all forces that are currently acting on an object.
