Which town or city do you live in now?

I’m currently based in Ho Chi Minh City, which is the largest economic hub of Vietnam. It’s a vibrant metropolis that’s famous for its energy, incredible street food, and the constant flow of traffic.

Are there any things you don't like about your area? (What are they?)

To be honest, the only downside is the traffic jam during rush hour. It can be quite a nightmare if you want to get somewhere in a hurry. I wish there were more green spaces or parks nearby so I could escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Do you think you will continue to live there for a long time? (Why? Why not?)

It’s hard to say, but for the foreseeable future, I think I’ll stay. My future job is here, and I quite enjoy the convenience that city life offers. However, I might consider moving to a quieter place when I decide to enjoy a more laid-back lifestyle.

What are some changes in the area recently?

There’s been a massive transformation in the local infrastructure. For instance, new high-rise buildings and shopping malls have popped up everywhere. And the construction of the new metro line has been a major talking point among residents recently.

Do you live in a house or an apartment?

I’m currently staying in a studio room. It’s not a massive space, but it’s quite cosy and fits my current needs. Since I’m a student, living in a studio-style room like this/ is much more budget-friendly than renting a whole house.

What is your favourite room in your home? (Why?)

Since my place is basically a studio room, the whole space is combined. However, I’ve set up a small workstation in the corner by the window, and that’s definitely my favorite spot. It’s where I feel most productive and can immerse myself in my studies.

What things make your home pleasant to live in? (Why?)

I think it’s the natural light. My room has large windows that let in plenty of sunshine, which makes the space feel much more airy and spacious. Having a comfortable balcony where I can grab a breath of fresh air also makes a huge difference.

Are the people in your neighbourhood nice and friendly?

Most of my neighbors are very approachable and friendly. We often exchange small talk, and there's a general sense of mutual respect for each other's privacy, which I really appreciate.

Do you know any of your neighbours?

I’m on friendly terms with a few people. We aren't best buddies or anything, but we help each other by collecting parcels or keeping an eye on things when one of us is away from home.

Do you know any famous people in your area?

I'm not sure, my neighborhood is quite low-key, so it's not exactly a hotspot for celebrities. Even if a famous person lived nearby, I doubt I’d notice them unless they were making a scene in public.
