30 m and 30 f uni students from American univeristy

Procedure

1. Given 3 envelopes w/ attractive, moderate, and unattractive person, asked to rate the photo on 27 personality traits on 6pt scale 2. A survey to rank from least to most likely to experience marital, parental, and overall happiness. 3. indicate which most likely to engage in 30 diff, occupations, devided into low, average, and high status.

Findings

Attractive people were predicted to be significant. happier and more succsessful, + more positibe personality traits (but not predicted to be better parents)
