amendment one

Congress cannot restrict the right to practice any religion nor favor any religion, nor can it restrict freedom of speech, press, or the right to organize peacefully in protest.

amendment two

Congress cannot restrict the right to have and carry a weapon.

amendment three

During peacetime, soldiers cannot be quartered in houses without the owner’s consent. During wartime, quartering is only allowed with clearly outlined laws set in place by Congress.

amendment four

Nobody can search you, your place of residence, or your belongings without being able to prove to a judge that they have good reason to do so.

amendment five

You can’t be indicted without enough evidence, no double jeopardy, you have the right to due process, and you cannot be forced to self-incriminate/you have the right to refuse to speak at your trial. The government can’t seize your belongings without paying a fair price.

amendment six

You have the right to a speedy and public trial, a jury if you wish, the right to know your charges, and the right to an attorney, whether provided by the government or paid for by you.

amendment seven

You have the right to a jury in a civil case.

amendment eight

You cannot be made to pay more than a reasonable bail or fine, and you cannot be subjected to cruel or unusual punishment.

amendment nine

The rights you have include, but are not limited to, the ones specified in the Constitution.

amendment ten

Any ability not granted to Congress by the Constitution is up to the states and/or the people.
