How has cultural erosion affected the indigenous people of Amazonia and in Papa New Guinea’s forest tribes?

Many members of indigenous tribes are becoming aware of Western culture and globalisation.

Instead of their traditional clothing, many wear t shirts and do not value the local ecosystems the way they used to.

In Papa New Guinea, the tree kangaroo is under threat and so is Peru’s Jaguars.

Indigenous people can be driven to hunt endangered species to sell them or to get food due to not seeing value in the local ecosystem.
