Benefits of Baptism
Grace of God
God’s unconditional love and favor toward us.

Three godparents.
Baptismal Vows
Confirmation
Completes the sacrament of Baptism; involves taking responsibility for faith, releasing godparents from responsibilities, affirming faith in Jesus Christ, being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and receiving the duties/privileges of communicant members.
Communicant Members
Full members of the Church who receive Holy Communion and voting rights.

John 14:15
Scriptural reference for the benefit of receiving the Holy Spirit: We love God and obey His commandments.

Sin
Deviating from God’s purpose and will.
Sin of Commission
Doing what should not be done.
Sin of Omission
Failing to do what is right.

Sacrament
An outward and visible sign of an inward grace given by God.
Holy Communion Signs and Gifts
Bread and wine are the outward and visible signs; healing is the inward gifts received.
