Object pronoun
A word that replaces an object in a sentence.
Direct object
The object that receives the action of the verb in a sentence.
Animate direct object identification
If the direct object is a person or animal, it can be identified by looking for the noun that follows "a" or "al."
Method to find a direct object
Ask who or what is receiving the action of the verb; it is typically the noun that immediately follows the action verb.
Yo (Direct Object Pronoun)
Me
Tú (Direct Object Pronoun)
Te
Usted / Él / Ella (Direct Object Pronoun)
Lo / La
Nosotros (Direct Object Pronoun)
Nos
Ustedes / Ellos / Ellas (Direct Object Pronoun)

Indirect object pronoun
A word representing whom or to whom the action is being done for.

Me

Object pronoun placement rule
When using both in the same sentence, the indirect object pronoun is always placed before the direct object pronoun.
The "se" rule
When both the indirect and direct pronouns begin with the letter L, the indirect pronoun (le or les) changes to "se" for purely phonetic reasons.
