aerial photos
a black and white photo taken at 90 from an aircraft that idicate large areas, special features. THey show side view (more recognizable) but they cant show scale (closer looks bigger) therefore large objects hide behind others.
vertical aerial photos
overlap to give a cleared, + complete photo to ensure no objects r left out. Here most object and the layout of infastructure in visible and u can identify small things by shadows, but the view from above is wierd, the colours r confusing and contour lines r used to distinguish steepness.
orthophotos
an aerial photo with contour lines that’s geometrically correct, with the same scale everywhere so the distance is correct. They help us get infor on the specific are with spot heights and contours,
