Japanese Light Cruisers
A new branch of ships from the Land of the Rising Sun characterized by gun calibers not exceeding 155mm throughout the entire branch.
Agano
The tier 5 Japanese cruiser which features only 6 guns.
Yodo
The tier 10 Japanese cruiser which boasts as many as 18 guns.
Artillery Characteristics
They are not the fastest shooters, and their high explosive shells have modest armor penetration and a modest chance of starting fires.
Shimanto
A tier 8 cruiser where the damage inflicted by armor-piercing shells begins to be not that great; it also features torpedoes with a range of up to 15km.
Firing Range
Described as solid, with tier 7 ships and above capable of firing over a distance of more than 16km.
Takahashi
A Japanese cruiser that, along with Shimanto and Yodo, can reach targets with torpedoes at distances of up to 15km.
Torpedo Turning Mechanics
A special feature starting from tier 7 that is similar to the mechanics found on the second branch of British battleships.
Japanese Torpedo Trade-offs
These light cruisers can deal heavy damage with torpedoes, but the price is a modest travel speed.
Concealment
A vital feature of these ships, shared with the branch headed by Zhao, which is important for surprise attacks or disappearing from sight.
Repair Party
A consumable equipped on Tier 9 and 10 ships to help manage their survivability despite weak armor.
Fighter Consumable
Available to tier 5 ships and above to help deter unwanted attention from enemy aircraft.
Defensive AA Fire
A consumable available to tier 6 ships and above that enables them to fend off opposing aircraft.
Hydroacoustic Search
An optional consumable that can be equipped in the second slot or used instead of Defensive AA Fire to avoid catching enemy torpedoes.
Incoming Fire Alert
A Commander skill that captains should monitor to help react to threats while shelling opponents.
Blind Torpedo Attacks
A strategy used by being familiar with main directions and key areas on maps to unleash effective, unspotted attacks.
