Put two fingers on the front of their wrist

WHEN TAKING PULSE, whatever number you have started on, where the second hand is, you would keep counting the pulse in your head, until the hand comes back to that number, then you stop counting, wash your hands, and record

  • KEEP THE NUMBER IN YOUR HEAD AND TAKE CLOCK, AND TUCK THE PATIENT IN

  • Put clock away

  • TELL EXAMINER THAT YOU ARE GOING TO WASH UR HANDS

  • ENTER THE PULSE INTO RECORDING SHEET then hand it to the examiner
