Minor Character
A character in a story who plays a smaller role compared to the main characters, such as Ricky in the Rollet family story.

Describing someone who is quiet, sad, and spent, as seen in Dad's character at the dinner table.

To feel worry or anxiety about someone or something.
Compare and Contrast
A comprehension skill used to analyze how two people, places, or things are alike and different.

A law signed by President Lincoln that offered free land in Kansas and other western states to settlers.
Land Deed
A paper that gives ownership of land to a person after they have lived on it for five years and improved it.
