Obsession

Compulsion

Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)

is characterized by persistent, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) performed to reduce anxiety.

Tic disorders

the individual is preoccupied with the idea that their body built is too small or insufficiently muscular.

Trichotillomania

or hair-pulling disorder is a mental disorder characterized by repetitive pulling of hair resulting in hair loss or bald patches. This can be hair from the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, or other parts of the body. (1% and 5% with females college students)

Excoriation

or skin-picking disorder is a mental disorder characterized by repetitive picking of the skin leading to skin damage. This can be a healthy skin, minor skin irregularities, pimples, or scabs. (due to stress, boredom and may feel guilt or shame afterward) (female disorder)

Impulse control disorders (ICDs)

involve impulsive behaviors (acting suddenly without thinking) driven by a desire for pleasure, excitement, or tension relief. (gusto lang nila for pleasure)

a type of obsession that overly perfectionist, thus symmetry. Balance, nasa tamang pwesto, pantay arrangement. Common stereotype sa may OCD. hindi nagpapapasok sa bahay nila para di magulo gamit nila. Compulsion nila is pag aarrange.
