Cervical Plexus
A network of nerves formed by the anterior rami of the cervical spinal nerves C1 to C4.
Common Peroneal Nerve
A branch of the sciatic nerve responsible for innervating muscles of the lateral and anterior leg.
Scapula
A flat bone that provides attachment for muscles and supports the shoulder.
Laryngeal Cartilage
Cartilage structure in the larynx; includes thyroid, cricoid, and aritenoid.
Biceps Brachii
A muscle located in the upper arm that flexes the elbow and supinates the forearm.
Quadriceps Femoris
A group of muscles located at the front of the thigh responsible for knee extension.
Median Nerve Injury
Can cause weakness in the muscles of the hand except for the intrinsic muscles of the thumb.
Hamstring Muscles
A group of three muscles located at the back of the thigh responsible for knee flexion.
Adductor Muscles
Muscles responsible for the adduction of the thigh, primarily located in the inner thigh.
Tibial Nerve
A branch of the sciatic nerve that innervates the posterior compartment of the leg.
