What is sensory modulation?
It is a therapy technique that involves modulating the senses to change the way we feel.
How do we modulate our senses?
By either calming ourselves down, or waking ourselves up to get into the sweet spot in the optimal window of arousal.
Why does sensory modulation work?
We can calm ourselves down by using our environment to alleviate stress, and anxiety.
Why is it a good strategy?
It can help to develop positive coping methods for anxiety adn stress, adn promote healthy habits in tandem.
