What is a preditor
A predator is an organism that hunts, kills, and consumes other organisms, known as prey, for food. They play a vital role in maintaining the balance of ecosystems.
What is prey
Prey refers to organisms that are hunted and eaten by predators as a source of food. They serve as an essential part of the food web and ecosystem dynamics.
What are the food chain questions?
What does it eat and what is it eaten by
what is food chain
how energy is transferred through an ecosytem at basic level there are plants that produce energy then moves it up to higher level. Organsisams.
What is the food web??
All the food making in a single ecosystem. All the interconnected and overlapping food making in and ecosytem make a food web
What is and ecosystem?
An ecosytem is all orginisms and physical excitement they interact all living things (plants animals bacteria) and non living things sun rocks soil water wich makes the ecosystem also kknown as biosphere atmosphere geosphere hydrosphere
What is a producer?
any kind of green plant that makes their food by taking sunlight and using the energy
what is a consumer?
An orginism that can’t make it’s own food consumers feed on producers
What is a herbivore?
eats only plants
What is a carnivore?
eats other animals
What is a omnivore
Eats both plants and animalshaw
what is a decomposer?
a living thing bacteria fungus or insect Edgar breaks down dead plants or animal matter into simpler palmed or substances.
What is photosynthesis
The process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize foods from carbon dioxide and water. Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green green pigment chlorophyl and generates oxygen as a byoproduct.
Who was Jan Baptista Van Helmont and what did he do?
In the 1600 he did an experiment that proved that plants don’t eat soil. He crew a willow tree in a weighed amount of soil.
What does a plant have that allows for them to transfer gasses
They have something called a stomata (tiny pores/holes, usually on the underside of the leaf.
Do plants breath?
No they don’t breath the respire and transpire.

Name the eight places marked on a worm.
The front three are anterior prostostimum and mouth. The middle is citellium setae and segment. The back two are posterior and anus.
What is the anterior (feinting)
It is a hole for a mouth and a big lip called a prostostimum
What is a posterior?
It is a back end with hole/anus that excretes waste
What is a setae?
hair/bristles
How many hearts do worms have
5 hearts
How do worms move
Sets of circular and longitudinal muscles that contract and realax
how do worms digest
they have a crop and gizzard that grind food, to the intestines, then into the bloodstream.
How do worms breathe
they must stay wet to breath through their skin
What is Light sensitivity
Cells in the anterior that are sensitive to light
What is the citellum
It’s something that worms develop when they are olderhaW
What is Vermicompost
It is the product of the decomposition process using various speices of worms usally red wigglers, white worms and other earthworms to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste bedding and vermicast
Give 2 peices of evidence that support the theory of how dinosaurs went extinct
The larger of iridium soil one he earth dating back to 66 million years
The discovery of underwater Chicxulub crater in the crater in the Yucatán peninsula crater.
