what does the nucleus do?
stores DNA and controls what happens in the cell

how have root hair cells adapted?
they have a long, thin, extension that protrudes into the soil which increases the surface area to absorb water more easily
how have nerve cells adapted?
Contain an elongated structure to carry electrical impulses across the body, and extensions to communicate with other cells quicker and easier.
how has a sperm cell adapted?
they have a streamline head which makes it easier to swim and an elongated tail which makes it easier and faster too.
