A memorial taken from the river, consisting of one stone for each of the 12 tribes of Israel.

The figure who appeared to Joshua near Jericho before the walls fell.
Achan
The man who, along with his family, was stoned for disobedience after Israel’s defeat at Ai.
Cities of Refuge
Six specific cities consisting of Kedesh, Shechem, Hebron, Bezer, Ramoth, and Golan.
Othniel
The first judge of Israel.
Shamgar
A judge who used an ox goad to kill 600 Philistines.
Jael
The woman who killed Sisera by driving a tent peg through his temple.
Gideon’s sign
A test involving a fleece where dew appeared only on the fleece and then only on the ground.
Jephthah’s vow
A promise to sacrifice the first thing that came out of his house, which resulted in his daughter mourning her virginity for 2 months.
Nazirite restrictions
Samson was commanded not to drink wine, cut his hair, or touch dead bodies.
Cycle of Israel in Judges
A repeating pattern of Sin → Oppression → Cry → Deliverance → Peace → Sin again.
Haman
The man who plotted to destroy the Jews by casting lots (Purim) to choose the day of their destruction.

A celebration established to commemorate the Jews' victory over their enemies in the book of Esther.

The ongoing process of becoming holy through the Holy Spirit.

A name meaning “The glory has departed from Israel,” given after the Ark of the Covenant was captured.

The son of Jonathan to whom David showed kindness for Jonathan’s sake.

Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them.
Zacchaeus
A tax collector who climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus in the city of Jericho.
Pure religion
As defined in James, it is to visit orphans and widows in their trouble and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
The Trinity
One God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
