All chemical reactions in the body that produce heat.

Brain region acting as the thermostat modulator.

Vasodilation

Widening of blood vessels to increase surface heat loss.

Vasoconstriction

Narrowing of blood vessels to reduce heat loss.

Sweating

Release of fluid from glands for evaporative cooling.

Goosebumps

Hair standing up to trap air for insulation.
