Base x hight or length x width
Finding total cost of something based on the square footage.
Mutilply the area by the cost per square foot.
Finding missing expense.
Find the total expenses minus it my the rent and insurance and you’ll get the utilities.
Finding profit.
Retail cost minus wholesale cost equals profit.
Finding weekly, monthly, and yearly salary
Weekly: is hourly pay times the amount of hours worked.
Monthly: multiply the weekly salary by 4.3
Yearly: multiple the weekly salary by 52
Finding simple intrest.
Intrest is the principle x rate x time
Principle: Amount borrowed.
Rate: written decimal for example 3% = 0.03
Time= the amount of years 5
Finding a percent as a number
Convert percent into a decimal then multiply.
