What do you study?
I’m currently a student at ISB University, majoring in International Business. It’s a pretty demanding course that covers everything from global logistics to international trade laws and market analysis.
What do you find most interesting about your studies?
What fascinates me most is learning about cross-cultural management. It’s intriguing to see how businesses adapt their strategies to different cultural contexts. I think this knowledge will be invaluable for my future career in a globalized world.
Which is more important to you - the teachers or the other students?
To be honest, I think both are crucial, but I lean more towards my friends. Having like-minded classmates at ISB allows us to brainstorm ideas and work on group projects effectively, which is a big part of the learning experience in business.
How much time do you spend studying every week?
Since I have a hectic schedule, I probably spend about 30 to 40 hours a week on my studies. This includes attending lectures and doing independent research at the library or at home to keep up with the latest market trends.
How do you usually travel to the city where you study?
Since I’m already living in HCMC, I usually commute to the campus by motorbike. It’s the most convenient way to navigate through the city's traffic, though it can be a bit nerve-wracking during rush hour.
Do you study best in the morning or the afternoon?
I’m definitely a morning person. I find that my concentration levels are at their peak early in the day, so I try to tackle the most complex subjects then. By the afternoon, I usually feel a bit drained.
Have you always wanted to study this subject?
Yes. I’ve always been ambitious about working in a global environment so I came to the decision to major in International Business. I felt like it perfect fit for me because it aligns with my interest in economics and my desire to travel and work with people from different backgrounds.
