Kapilari
Smallest blood vessels allowing for gas and nutrient exchange between blood and body cells through thin walls.
Arteri
Blood vessel that carries oxygenated blood away from the heart to the body, except for the lungs.
Lumen
The interior space of a blood vessel through which blood flows.
Injap
Valves present in veins to prevent backflow of blood.
Pengaliran darah
The flow of blood through the circulatory system, varying in speed and pressure across different types of blood vessels.
Dinding kapilari
The walls of capillaries that are one cell thick, facilitating efficient gas and nutrient exchange.
Dinding arteri
Thick and muscular walls of arteries that withstand high blood pressure.
Dinding vena
Thin and elastic walls of veins to accommodate low blood pressure and have valves.
Pulsasi nadi
The detectable pulsing of blood flow, usually present in arteries but not in veins or capillaries.
