High Thermal Resistant Glass
Borosilicate glass with low alkali content that resists heat corrosion and thermal shock, such as Pyrex, Kimax, Exax, and Corex.
Corex
Glass type 6 times stronger than borosilicate glass, ideal for higher temperature thermometers, graduated cylinders, and centrifuge tubes.
Vycor
Alumina-silicate glass suitable for applications involving high temperatures, drastic heat shock, and extreme chemical treatments, heatable to 900°C.
High Silica Glass
Glass with 96% silica content, comparable to fused quartz, known for its thermal endurance, chemical stability, and electrical characteristics.
Low Actinic Glass
Amber or red-colored glass designed to reduce light transmission, ideal for protecting heat-labile substances in the 300-500nm range.
