Stop Sign
Indicates that the driver must come to a complete stop and proceed only when safe.
Yield Sign
Indicates to slow down and give the right-of-way to traffic, pedestrians, or cyclists.
Speed Limit Sign
Indicates the maximum legal speed under ideal conditions.
School Crossing Sign
Indicates to watch for children crossing and be prepared to slow down or stop.
Railroad Crossing Sign
Indicates a railroad track is ahead and to be prepared to stop for trains.
No U-turn Sign
Indicates that U-turns are prohibited at that location.
No Parking Sign
Indicates you may not leave your vehicle parked there.
One-way Street Sign
Indicates that traffic moves in only one direction.
Merge Sign
Indicates traffic lanes are joining; adjust speed and position safely.
Pedestrian Crossing Sign
Indicates to watch for pedestrians crossing the road.
4-way Stop (Right-of-Way)
The first vehicle to stop goes first; if two arrive at the same time, the driver on the right has the right-of-way.
U-turn Legality
Permissible when it is legal and safe, and there are no signs prohibiting it.
Turning Signal Distance
Drivers should signal at least 100feet before the turn.
Safe Following Distance
A gap of at least 3seconds behind the vehicle ahead.
Fire Hydrant Parking Limit
You must park no closer than 15feet to a fire hydrant.

A signal that requires all following traffic to stop.
