Purpose - To partake of the flesh and blood of the Lord

John 6:55-56 (flesh is food indeed, blood is drink indeed)

Purpose - To commemorate the death of the Lord

1 Corinthians 11:26 (proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes)

Purpose - To unify with the Lord

1 Corinthians 10:16 (Communion with the blood and body of Christ)

Purpose - To have eternal life in Lord Jesus

John 6:53 (Unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Lord, you have no life)

Purpose - To resurrect on the last day

John 6:54 (who ever eat the Lord’s flesh and drinks His blood will be raised up on the last day)

Method - One Unleavened Bread

1 Corinthians 10:17, 5:6-8 (one body = one bread) (Leaven = sin)

Method - One pot of grape juice

Matthew 26:28-29

Method - held often

Partaking of Holy Communion - Must be baptized

1 Corinthians 5:7-8 (must be “unleavened”)
