What are the parts of the female reproductive system?
- Ovaries (female gonads)
- Tubular reproductive tracts, which is made up of:
1. Uterine tube
2. Uterus
3. Female copulary organs (vagina, vestibule, vulva, and clitoris)
What are the parts of the broad ligament?
- Mesovarium
- Mesosalpinx
- Mesometrium
Mesovarium
Cranial part of the broad ligament.
It suspends the ovaries.
Mesosalpinx
Suspends uterine tubes.
Mesometrium
Suspends the uterus
Ovarian bursa
A space (yellow) whose walls consists of the mesovarium (blue) and the mesosalpinx (green)

Suspensory ligament of the ovary
Between the ovary and the last rib (green)

Proper ligament of the ovary
Between the ovary and tip of the uterine horn

What are the parts of the uterine tube?
- Infundibulum
- Ampulla
- Isthmus
What are the parts of the infundibulum?
- Abdominal orifice of the uterine tube
- Fimbriae
What are the parts of the uterus?
- Uterine horns
- Uterine body
- Cervix
Round ligament of the uterus
- Located in the free edge of the perpendicular sheet of the broad ligament
- Goes from the caudal pole of the ovary to the inguinal canal
Portio vaginalis
The extension of cervix into vagina, surrounded by vaginal fornix.

Vaginal fornix
A dead end below and created by the portio vaginalis (outlined in yellow)

Vestibular bulbs
- Erectile tissues in the wall of the vestibule
- Helps with the copulatory tie

Vulva
Two labia meet at dorsal and ventral commissures, vulvar cleft
Clitoris
- Within the ventral commissure
- Glands is the only exposed part of the clitoris
- Surrounded by the clitoral fossa
- Essentially a rudimentary penis
