Nervous system
The body’s command center and is always sending messages throughout the body including neurones, tissues, and nerves; like wifi network
Central Nervous System (CNS)
Brain + spinal cord; brain processes sensory information and spinal controls the body and connect the brain to the rest of the body
Peripheral Nervous System (PNS)
Connects the CNS to the rest of the body and includes the somatic (SNS) and autonomic systems (ANS).
Somatic Nervous System
Controls voluntary movements and processes sensory input and includes five senses
Autonomic Nervous System
Handles automatic, involuntary functions like heart rate and digestion; houses sympathetic and parasympathetic systems.

Sympathetic system
Triggers fight-or-flight responses; prepares the body for action.

Calms the body down and supports rest-and-digest functions and focuses on storing energy
