Read Permission
Allows a user to view or read a file, but not modify it.
Write Permission
Allows a user to read and modify or edit a file.
Execute Permission
Allows a user to run a program or script from a file.
Delete Permission
Allows a user to remove a file from the system.
Least Privilege
A basic principle of security stating that a user should be allocated the minimum necessary rights, privileges, and information to perform their role.
Implicit Denial
A security principle that denies access to everyone unless there is a specific allowance.
Administrators
Special accounts that can perform any actions on the entire system.
Standard Users
Users who have limited permissions and cannot add new users or modify system settings.
