a false/imaginary belief that persists despite evidence to the contrary (break with reality)
What is the difference between neurotic guilt and healthy guilt?
healthy guilt helps to develop a moral compass. neurotic guilt leads to depression, anxiety

paraphrase, reflecting / clarifying & name themes
What are the two functions that active listening serves?
helps client feel understood and heard, and allows therapist to stay fully engaged to show support

very empathic -> spend a lot of time worrying
