Headlights Check
Includes checking high/low beams for cleanliness, correct color, absence of cracks, and proper functionality.
Under the Hood Inspection
Evaluation of fluids such as coolant, engine oil, and power steering fluid to ensure proper levels, no leaks, and secure hoses.
Steering Components
Involves checking steering shaft play (maximum 10°), U-joint condition, gearbox security, and cotter pin security on arms.
Suspension System Inspection
Examination of hanger mounts, leaf springs, shocks, and U-bolts for cracks, breaks, or looseness.
Braking System Check
Includes inspections for brake hose leaks, worn lining, oil/grease in brake drum, and push rod movement of less than 1 inch.
Tires & Wheels Inspection
Evaluation for cuts, bulges, even wear, tread depth (front 4/32, rear 2/32), tire pressure (80–100 PSI), and rim/rust and lug nut tightness.
Battery Inspection
Ensures that the battery is secure and free of corrosion.
Fuel Tank Check
Involves checking that fuel tank straps are tight and free of leaks, and that the fuel cap is secure.
Air & Electrical Lines Check
Assessment for cuts, leaks, and exposed wires, ensuring glad hands are sealed.
Fifth Wheel Inspection
Check for greasing, cracks, no gap between apron and plate, and that the release arm is locked.
Trailer Inspection
Includes checking the trailer frame for cracks, ensuring a solid floor, and the security of cross members.
Final Check
Review for no loose items, no leaks, and all lights working properly.
