Adultery
A married person choosing to have sex with someone they are not in a relationship. (e.g Catholics believe if you get remarried after divorce it is cheating)

To legally end a marriage.
Cohabitation
Living with somebody you are in a sexual relationship with w/o being married or in a civil partnership (bf + gf living tgth)
Commitment
To make and keep a promise (eg wedding vows)
Contraception
Methods used to prevent a woman from becoming pregnant during/after intercourse (eg condom (artificial/natural))
Gender equality
When people of all genders enjoy the same rights + opportunity in all aspects of life (eg feminism)
Responsibility
Actions or duties you are expected to carry out (eg looking after family members, stewardship)
Roles
position of a person (police officers and characteristics expected of them, like following law)
Afterlife
Life after death; the belief that existance continues after physical death (eg heaven and hell)
Environmental sustainability
Ensuring that natural resources are used but protected for current and future generations to enjoy (renewable energy over fossil fuels)
Euthanasia
Act of killing or permitting the death of a person who is suffering from a serious illness (assisted dying)

Process by which different creatures are believed to have developed from earlier, less complex forms during the history of Earth.
Abortion
Termination of pregnancy to avoid the birth of a child (taking pill)
Quality of life
The extent to which life is meaningful and pleasurable
Sanctity of life
Belief that all life is precious and sacred, especially for human life in religion (murder is a grave sin as only God can give life so only God can take life)
Soul
The non-physical spiritual aspect of being, which some religions believe connects them to God (soul put into baby after 120 days)
Good
That which is considered morally correct and beneficial (eg donating to charity)
Evil
That which is considered extremely immoral and wicked (eg commiting murder)
Forgiveness
To grant pardon for wrong doing/to give up resentment against wrongdoer (eg Jesus dying on cross, for all sins to be forgiven so everybody can reach salvation)
Free will
The ability to make choices voluntarily and independently (God allows us to make any choice we want in life)
Justice
Fairness; where everybody has equal provisions and opportunity (eg proportionality of punishment)
Morality
The principles and standards determining which actions are right or wrong (eg telling the truth no matter what)
Punishment
Penalty given to someone for doing wrong (eg going to prison for committing a crime)
Sin
Deliberately committing and immoral act which breaks a religious law normally created from a religious text (eg eating pork is haram)
Suffering
Psychological, physical, emotional or spiritual pain or distress caused by injury, illness or loss (eg Hell is believed to be eternal suffering)
Censorship
The practise of suppressing and/or limiting access to materials seen to be obscene, offensive or threat to security (eg redacting sensitive files)
Discrimination
Acts of treating groups of people/indivduals differently based on prejudice (eg gender pay gap)
Extremism
Believing in/ supporting ideas that are very far from what most people consider correct or reasonable (eg da triple K)
Human rights
The basic entitlements of all humans (eg all humans deserve access to clean water as said in the DoHR)
Personal conviction
Something a person strongly feels or believes in (eg religion)
Prejudice
Judging people to be superior or inferior without evidence (eg Wura likes feet)
Relative poverty
Standard of poverty measured relative to the society the person lives in (eg making a certain percentage less than the average person)
Absolute poverty
An acute sense of deprivation, where the person cannot access basic needs (eg homelessness)
Social justice
Promoting a fair society by challenging injustice and valuing diversity and ensuring everybody has equal opportunity (eg equity)
