  • birth stories to be true - Jesus was conceived by power of holy spirit, allowing for a virgin

  • others may see the story as a myth - used to show how Jesus is fully divine and human

  • if Jesus was fully divine how could his knowledge be limited at time - as God became man he gave up his divine knowledge as an act of self- giving.
